Privacy
Your timer stays on your device.
Who we are
Back to Basics is made by Novi Homines Software Oy, Business ID 3493380-2. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions or requests. Updated 9 October 2026.
The native apps
The timer keeps your active session and preferences on your device. It has no accounts, ads, analytics, app telemetry, crash-reporting SDKs or productivity history. We do not receive your timer or preferences. The operating system handles notifications and timer displays on your device.
The web timer
The web timer saves your active session and preferences in your browser. A local cache allows offline use after the first successful load. It uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. You can remove its local data by clearing this site’s browser data.
This website
Cloudflare hosts our website and web timer. When you visit, your browser sends requests that include details such as your IP address and browser. Cloudflare processes those requests for hosting and security. We have not added analytics, advertising cookies or user accounts. Cloudflare explains its processing in its privacy policy.
Stores and operating-system diagnostics
Apple and Google handle downloads, purchases and any store-controlled information. Operating-system diagnostics are controlled by the platform and your device settings. These services have their own privacy policies; they are separate from data collected by the timer app.
If you contact support
Your email includes your address and anything else you choose to share. We use it to reply and handle your request, and our email provider processes delivery. We keep messages only as long as needed for support and related obligations. You can request a copy, correction or deletion of information you sent. There is no app account to delete.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. The timer’s current behavior is described above.
